Progress

For those who are long time readers of this blog, you may recall that back in August of 2013, they first started breaking ground on the plot of land located between my apartment building and the street to the south.  The city had sold the land to a developer.  It was the end of the green space. :(
Turns out, they were building townhomes on the lot across the street to the west, a process that took about three years.  People moved into those finished units late last year.

As you can see from the pictures below, at long last, progress is being made on this second phase of the project located on the land that used to be that same green space.

Foundations are being laid.
Cement basements are being installed.
Walls are going up.
A lot of units of being built.
I'm not sure when this batch will be ready for occupants, I suspect it won't be too much longer.  For now, it continues to be a work in progress.
